On our Oregon runs we’re capped at 105,500 GVW with permits, which works out to roughly 40–45 tons of logs when they’re green; off-highway you can push more, but on interstates it’s the 80,000 lb federal cap. , the whole “hauling limits” thing changes by state and axle count — quick check: Truck Size and Weight - FHWA Freight Management and Operations. What state are you in, and are we talking paved routes or mill-to-landing only?
