We’ve had solid sub‑meter in hemlock using an Eos Arrow Gold+ paired to ArcGIS Field Maps — on RTK/VRS it holds about 0.3–0.5 m and pushes features straight to AGOL (Arrow Gold® RTK GNSS Receiver (Retired) | Eos)… If cell is sketchy, run L‑band RTX/Atlas and in Field Maps enable the high‑accuracy profile and 20–30 s point averaging at SMZ corners — belt‑and‑suspenders accuracy; Trimble R2 is a decent alternative if you’re in the Trimble stack. Do you have NTRIP coverage on that 82 acres?
@hankMills_22’s RTK point is spot on — if you’ve got NTRIP, a Trimble R2 or an Emlid RS2+ will hold sub‑meter under hemlock, and you can feed NMEA into the ArcGIS mobile app to sync straight to AGOL; mount on a range pole and use 5–10 s averaging to tame the multipath that eats GNSS for breakfast. Do you have access to a state CORS/VRS or would you need an RTX or local base?
Bad Elf Flex on a 2 m pole feeding ArcGIS Survey123 has been steady for me in hemlock; with Galileo+BeiDou enabled I see about 0.4–0.6 m using Atlas when RTK isn’t available. Set the elevation mask around 15° and average 5–10 seconds per vertex to tame multipath; do you have cell across the unit, @tony_woods72, or would a small base/rover be safer?
